How It Works

Shield regeneration in EVE follows a complex formula based on current shield percentage. The regeneration rate is highest at 25% shield HP and decreases as shields approach full or empty.

Peak Regeneration: The maximum HP/s your shield can regenerate, occurring at 25% shield HP.

DPS to Break Regen: The minimum sustained DPS required to prevent shield regeneration entirely.

Cycle Damage: For weapons with longer cycle times, higher DPS may be required to account for damage bursts.

Time to Kill: When you provide your DPS and target's armor/structure HP, the calculator estimates how long it would take to completely destroy the target, accounting for shield regeneration.

Parse Stats: You can copy and paste ship or structure information directly from EVE Online. The parser will automatically extract Shield Capacity, Shield recharge time, Armor Hitpoints, and Structure Hitpoints.
